A great day at Porsche Megaphonics at Boxengasse, surrounded by an incredible selection of Porsches and people who share a genuine passion for the brand.
This was my first time attending Megaphonics, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. From the moment I arrived, there was something interesting to see around every corner, from timeless Porsche classics to some seriously special modern builds.
Porsches everywhere you look
One of the best things about Megaphonics was the sheer variety of cars on display. Beautifully preserved classics sat alongside modified builds and much newer models, making it a great opportunity to see different generations of Porsche together in one place.
For someone who loves automotive photography, it was difficult to know where to point the camera next. The distinctive shapes, details, colours and individual touches on the cars provided plenty of opportunities to capture something different throughout the day.
A brilliant atmosphere at Boxengasse
The setting at Boxengasse was perfect for an event like this. The day was really well organised, with a fantastic turnout and a relaxed atmosphere throughout.
What stood out just as much as the cars was the community around them. Porsche owners, enthusiasts, photographers and people from across the automotive world all came together, creating an event that felt as much about the people and their shared passion as it did about the cars themselves.
Photographing Megaphonics
Events like Megaphonics are particularly enjoyable to photograph because there’s so much variety. Rather than focusing on just one car, I was able to capture everything from wider shots of the event to individual cars and the smaller details that make each Porsche unique.
Automotive photography has become a part of my work that I really enjoy, and days like this are a great reminder of why. Being surrounded by incredible cars while meeting more people within the automotive community makes for a pretty good day behind the camera.
My first Porsche Megaphonics at Boxengasse was definitely one to remember, and certainly won’t be my last.
